As a first time mummy-to-be I've got a lot of things to organise (waaaaah totally not panicking about this at all) and at the top of my list at the moment is finding a stylish and practical changing bag with preferably no cupcakes or butterflies stitched all over them. I have nothing against cupcakes or butterflies but it's just not my thing and a lot of the bags I came across initially were quite girly in design. I'm a bit of a tomboy at heart and I'm most comfortable in a pair of converse trainers with my trusty leather rucksack slung on my back so I'm looking for something that still makes me feel like me whilst being practical at the same time! I've been scouring the internet, small businesses and high street shops for the perfect bag but I found it quite difficult, especially finding something that hits all the spots and with a reasonable price tag.

I've compiled a list of my favourites so far which I thought would be helpful to share....after all sharing is caring!

1. Jem and Bea

Introducing the Beatrice tote in black! This little beauty oozes city chic and with 100% leather and handy compartments this would make the ultimate buggy addition. It also comes in a lovely taupe colour and even though it's at the top end of my budget it's really very dreamy. It could be used as a handbag as well as a changing bag which appeals to me hugely, it sort of justifies the price tag because of that reason. It's luxury and mums definitely deserve a bit of luxury!

 2. Tiba and Marl

These guys are a bit of me! They do some fabulous backpacks which are designed with mummy and baby in mind but they haven't forgotten about style and the bags are really cool!

Introducing the James satchel bag which is a bag I know the hubby wouldn't mind getting a hold of too. It comes with an across the body strap and has an on trend satchel design plus handy pockets a plenty! Again, the Tiba and Marl bags are at the top end of my budget but they tick so many boxes for me. They look and feel like designer bags and for a bag that you will using every day then I think its worth it!

The Kaspar Knapsack Khaki bag is everything! It's a statement bag with gold detailing and black straps but it's also really practical with bottle pockets and helpful compartments to store everything you need on the go.

2. Itskaos

Itskaos are a really fabulous company based in Norway and Sweden and luckily for the rest of us they ship worldwide. I've fallen for the KAOS Ransel unisex baby bag which has brilliant on/off stroller hooks and eight different compartments to help keep life organised. These bags are definitely right at the top of my budget (are we all noticing a theme here) but like Itskaos say themselves, this is a bag that can be used even after the diaper days are over! They come in different colours to suit your colour scheme and style!

4. Skip hop

I really like Skip Hop and their new design called the Chelsea Chic Downtown backpack is a fabulous changing bag that I would be proud to wear. It has handy integrated buggy clips and lots of space and pockets for organisation. This bag is under £100 and I think it's great value for money as it's practical and stylish.....the perfect combo!

 5. Baby Beau

Baby Beau changing bags have some lovely designs and I'm loving the different styles they have to offer. They have a range of multifunctional bags in different styles and colours which will suit most mums in the world. I'm especially loving the Joel unisex changing bag in olive which comes with handy pockets and a retro style. The price tags for these bags really vary so there should be a bag for everyone in their collection.....Check them out!

6. Mama and Papas

I love some of the Mama and Papas changing bags and their simple but stylish designs will suit all your practical needs as a mummy. I'm especially keen on the Chrissi changing bag which comes in a grey denim colour and can be used as a backpack or a handbag  - Love this! It's stylish, practical and multi functional which is perfect for a busy mum on the go.

I hope this post has given any other mums or mums to be, who are struggling to find the perfect changing bag, some much needed inspiration! This is not a sponsored post and just a little old list of my favourites.....

Love, Hayley
