I can't believe this is my last week in my pregnancy 20's! I'm very excited to be entering my 30's as it's taking me closer and closer to meeting Baby B! It's all starting to feel very, very real! I'm definitely starting to feel more heavy and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if the sexy pregnancy waddle has set in yet but I'm definitely moving at a much slower pace and feeling more out of breath than normal. I'm embracing my slower pace of life and just taking my time with things, it's much better that way than getting frustrated with myself.


I still don't have any weird or wonderful cravings but I definitely have more of a sweet tooth. I was never a mad fan of chocolate, sometimes I would fancy it and I would never turn down a Kit Kat stick if offered but I can't get enough of the chocolatey goodness at the moment. My appetite has massively increased, I'm always hungry! I have breakfast followed by a second breakfast then a snack which leads nicely on to lunch and so on. I'm just trying to make sure that I'm snacking on fruit and veg more than my new favourite chocolate to balance everything out! 


Baby B is kicking away and his kicks are getting much stronger. It's not uncomfortable and I'm finding it really reassuring feeling him have a little jiggle around. He seems much more active at night when I'm lying on my side. I feel a real heaviness on my bladder when Baby b has a move around so I'm constantly making a dash for the toilet. Oh the glamour! 

I've been using my pregnancy oil on my bump most evenings and haven't spotted any stretch marks yet but I'm sure some will appear as the pregnancy progresses. I've noticed a slight pregnancy rash on the bottom of my bump so the bio oil is helping to sooth and hydrate my skin so I think I'll continue to use it throughout. 



According to my pregnancy app, Baby B is now the size of a butternut squash and is weighing about 1.2kg which definitely explains why I'm feeling more uncomfortable. I'm feeling more pressure in my abdomen and stretching in my pelvis. I'm like a helpless tortoise in bed at night! I'm struggling to get out of bed for my regular toilet trips during the night and getting comfy in bed is still a proper mission. I'm still getting the restless leg syndrome which is making my legs tingle, it feels like pins and needles and is so annoying when I'm trying to get to sleep.


As much as I'm starting to feel more and more uncomfortable and I'm struggling to sleep, I love being pregnant and I love my bump. I want to make sure that I appreciate every day and take as many photos of my growing bump as possible as the time is flying by so quickly! It will be amazing to show Baby B photos of him in my belly when he is old enough to understand and to look back on such an incredible time. Growing a tiny human isn't easy but it's definitely worth it!
